Hi, I’m Joyce Prunty
I believe that finding the right career isn’t just about climbing the corporate ladder – it’s about finding the right mountain to climb, one that fulfills and inspires you.
For years, I found myself navigating between IT Management and Sales because it was familiar – it was what I knew how to do. But no matter how much success I achieved, something was always missing. I felt like I was standing at the wrong summit, wondering why the view wasn’t as rewarding as I imagined.
That’s when I realized my passion wasn’t in chasing titles or promotions – it was in helping others discover careers that truly align with their purpose. After working with a coach and exploring my own path, I accepted a role supporting IT and Cybersecurity students as they began shaping their futures. It didn’t take long for me to realize that guiding others in their careers wasn’t just a job – it was my mission.
The most rewarding part? Many of the individuals I supported were military-connected. As the proud daughter of a Navy veteran, it became more than just coaching – it became a way to give back to those who have served.
As a twice-certified career coach with a BA in Business Administration, I specialize in:
Career Changers – Helping professionals pivot with confidence and strategy
IT & Cybersecurity Professionals – Translating technical skills into meaningful career opportunities
Career Development & Leveling Up – Assisting professionals in advancing their careers with intention
In addition to running Peak Empowerment Career Coaching, I serve as a Program Manager for a nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans and their spouses in career development – it's a privilege to give back to the military community in such a meaningful way.
Beyond my work, I am truly blessed to be married to my best friend, Jason, since 2019. We’ve spent most of our lives in Colorado, adventuring with our two sweet fur babies. I also have two amazing stepchildren from a previous marriage. I love to travel – having lived in Mexico and Costa Rica for short periods – and no surprise, hiking is a big part of my life. In 2024, I fulfilled a long-time goal by trekking the Grand Canyon for the first time.
I’m here to help you discover the career that fits your life and ambitions – one that feels like the summit you’ve been searching for. Let’s find your mountain together.
